Terratopia: March of The Demon King
A downloadable game
From the makers of Nightingale, 2023 Playdate Community Award Winner: Best Narrative Game
Terratopia: March of The Demon King is a narrative heavy puzzle game; a Choose Your Own Adventure with a rogue-like twist.
Control Akio, adventurer princess of the small agrarian kingdom of Shuna, and do whatever it takes to protect your home from The Demon King and their encroaching forces of darkness. Will you train with the town militia? Or raid forgotten dungeons in search of magical artifacts? Beseech the gods for help? Or recruit mercenaries from the nearby port city?
The Demon King will be here soon, and only by making the best possible use of your time will you be able to save your home.
But what is Terratopia about?
Terratopia is about playing an RPG for the first time as a child and being captivated by the world in front of you: a huge, limitless expanse of possibilities.
But you look back as an adult and realize the world that captured your imagination so completely was only a few low-res images and a five sentence paragraph about the forces of good and evil.
But the truth is, that experience was always magical because your imagination made it so, and that magic is still there: we just want to help you rediscover it.
